Curriculum Overview

After years of working with children, we know children learn best when they are doing hands-on exploration and are immersed in their daily activities—maximizing their natural curiosity and desire to learn. For example:

We talk about what day it is throughout the school day.
We count and explore numbers during our activities.
We talk about letters, look at them, and work with them in our daily routines.
We explore shapes and colors within our environment.

In addition to our core curriculum, children engage in enrichment programs, including music, Spanish, social studies, and motor skills.

Preschool Curriculum

Our preschool program uses play to help little learners grow their knowledge. Students:

Investigate their surroundings and use all their senses.
Explore their feelings and learn to identify them.
Create without constraints to inspire their creativity.
Roleplay and use their imaginations.
Socialize with peers and adults.

Pre-K Curriculum

Our Pre-K program builds on our preschool curriculum and uses play to prepare students for being part of a kindergarten classroom. Students:

Learn when it’s time to listen.
Understand when we’re taking turns.
Take pride in their surroundings, helping to clean up.
Learn how to be responsible.
Interact with their environment.
Build gross-motor skills.
Foster a love of reading.
